About Xabler

It came down to a compatibility problem…
Many home automation systems are proprietary—which means—incompatible with each other. Because of this, users and installers were forced to learn multiple programming and installation techniques—each requiring many long hours to complete. This made updating to new hardware difficult and expensive.

For example, proprietary touchscreens start at $10,000. Industry standards start at $800. Yet standard touchscreens couldn’t communicate with proprietary systems. There was a need for something that could integrate all back-end proprietary systems into one cohesive, user- and price-friendly solution.

Then came Xabler.
Now we’re speaking the same language.

Xabler created standard hardware and software technologies that could communicate with all brands of automation. All through a customized, easy-to-use interface.

Known best for its IP-enabled Universal Control System (UCS), Xabler provides turnkey systems that allow users to integrate and automate multiple brands of lighting, security and audio/video systems via touchscreens or the Internet—from the couch or across the globe.

Xabler enables home and business owners to maximize the control and enjoyment of automation systems by integrating Xabler’s Linux-based software and servers with products from manufactures like ViewSonic, MSI, Toshiba and Dell. Its wireless interface operates through touchpanels, PDAs and the Internet. Xabler also offers add-ons like streaming video through the Video Security System (VSS option) and MP3 music through the Digital Music Server (DMS option).

Once an Xabler system is in place, it integrates all of the disparate systems into one interface. It allows all components of the automation system to work together. Installers no longer have to worry about compatibility and communication issues. This decreases the number of programming hours required, lowers overall costs and makes future upgrades easily obtainable.
