The video input is a standard RCA jack which can connect any video source, such as wireless cameras, a VCR, video matrix etc. Another feature of the video server is any ethernet or web based camera can be added to the Xabler network without having to assign multiple external IP addresses to each ethernet camera. The ethernet cameras can share one IP address and will still be available on the internet and be switched through the Xabler interface. Security is in place to prevent un-authorized intruders from being able to access the system. The video server also integrates with the othe interfaces provided by Xabler, giving a customer full control over their home automation system, lighting, video, and other devices. Currently, the Xabler video server provides live video. Captured video and other security camera features will be available in following releases.
