Xabler-Branded Touchscreens to Work in Tandem with Xabler Automated Control Systems

PROVO, Utah—June 7, 2004—Xabler announces the release of its own line of touchscreens, touting a wide range of design options that accommodate a multitude of user control preferences. 

User-friendly touchscreens have simplified the way Xabler customers control their world. In the past, Xabler has recommended only the most reliable brands and models.  Now Xabler introduces its own line of touchscreens that meet its strict requirements. “This only made sense,” Xabler CTO Kent Gividen explains. “Xabler systems are about providing a complete hardware/software solution that controls multiple systems through a single easy-to-use interface. By providing our own touchscreens, we can deliver on that promise better than ever before.” 

Soon-to-be-released models include a an attractive desktop flatscreen, available in either the 12” or 15” screen size; an in-wall option, also available in 12” or 15” size; as well as a mobile touchscreen complete with a charging cradle.  Features include high resolutions, fanless design or ultra-quiet fans, Wi-Fi, x86 architecture, an Ethernet port and the option of USB, RS232, CD-ROM, DVD or PS2 ports.  Works with standard operating  systems (Pocket PC, Windows CE, Windows XP, Linux, Macintosh) and Macromedia® Flash Player can be installed.
