Xabler Announces Compatibility of the Global Caché GC-IRL IR Learner with Its Universal Control System (UCS)

PROVO, Utah—January 1, 2006—Xabler announces the release of IR learning software which allows its Universal Control System (UCS) to work in conjunction with the Global Caché GC-IRL IR Learner.

The Global Caché GC-IRL IR Learner is a product used to learn the full spectrum, 30KHz to 500KHz, of IR codes that control infrared driven equipment.  The newly released Xabler software allows its Universal Control System (UCS) to save IR codes in the GC-IRL’s sendir format or the Pronto CCF format.  The result is turnkey uploading of IR codes into the Xabler system.

Xabler CTO Kent Gividen explains the new compatibility in this way. “As a leader in automation control compatibility, it only made sense for Xabler to align its flagship UCS product to be compatible with the Global Caché IR Learner.”

When used with the Xabler UCS system, installers have the option of implementing turnkey Graphical User Interface skins for DVD, Satellite, DVR, and more.  Once learned, installers can use them from job to job.

Global Caché’s GC-IRL IR Learner is a must-have tool for every dealer, installer, and home automation enthusiast.  The compact GC-IRL is used with a PC to learn the full spectrum, 30KHz to 500KHz, of IR codes that control infrared driven equipment.
